This was the 2nd Annual gathering of these terrific people, but our first Vintage Rally...we had the best time!

The weather was perfect...a bit windy at times, but bright & sunny!

Can you tell the difference?  We have stripped the clearcoat up to the "halfway line" of rivets...looking shinier!
 

An all too familiar sight...the boys checking out the trailers!

All-in-all, there were 27 Airstreams, an Argosy, a Sero Scotty & a Vintage Fire Truck pulling an Airstream and a Teardrop Trailer!

Folks came from all around, not just Colorado ~ there were:
2-AZ, 1-CA, 1-FL, 1-ID, 1-IN, 1-MO, 1-OH, 1-TX & 2-WY

...and such a treat watching Luke back-up his trio of vintage vehicles!

Each evening we gathered for happy hour & snacks...


Friday, we all climbed aboard the fire truck for a short ride to dinner at
the Old Rock Inn Western Steakhouse

Friday evening was capped off with the premier showing of the "new" Airstream Caravan Movies on DVD...Thanks Fred! 

 Saturday afternoon we had an Open House...

...about 75-100 people came for the day to check 'em all out.

Tom brought out his beautifuly handcrafted replica of his trailer...

...and one of the Matchbox version modeled after his model...a "Mini Me" with a "Mini Me"!

The day was capped off with a wonderful potluck & organic sausages courtesy of the newlywed Gosars...and don't forget Bonny's serenading during dinner!

Kris & Jill even shared their wedding cake...

...& chocolates.  How cool is that!

 

"Wally & Stella" joined in the festivities wishing John & Jodi a Happy anniversary.
